Back to the table…

Wow, nearly two months since the last post! Sorry about that…

Work and home have both gotten increasingly busier, with more responsibilities at both. Little Zoe’s demands to be entertained are certainly increasing, and we’re into our 4-month stretch – starting on solid food, giggling, and lots more nonsense talking.

Corporia, likewise, is making progress but more slowly. The rules are set, barring any significant beta (Kickstarter) changes.

My last big job was to go back through all the sample Player Character stats and Non-Player Character statistics and revamp them all to match the final rules set. Now I’m doing some trimming and polishing to the sample adventures, which hopefully will be finished by the end of the week. After that, it’s back to the extra PDFs that I plan to release as Kickstarter level bonuses; the PDF itself will be fairly cheap, but additional sponsorship will garner additional rules, characters, and so forth, and help incentivize (I hope) larger donations to get to the full color hardcover level. More on the project as it develops.

And on a related note, I’ve been informed that Corporia gets a mention on the next episode (#115) of the Gamerstable podcast, to be released tomorrow. I know I’ve mentioned this one before, but if you’re any kind of a gamer you owe it to yourself to check this out!

I also got a message from Jolly Blackburn (friend and former co-worker at Kenzer and Company) telling me that he’d added me to the ranks of the “Honorary Knights of the Dinner Table” – a notable list of various contributing fans and industry colleagues who are friends of the Knights of the Dinner Table comic magazine. A good start to the week!
